Shrek the Third is a computer animated comedy film. Like the first two Shrek films, the movie is significantly based on fairy tale themes.
The film starts with a king who is soon on his deathbed, and he tells Shrek will become the new King of far Away. I’m so interested in Shrek’s future and want to know what happen will be. Will Shrek take over or give up being a king? In addition, Shrek is going to has children that should be change part of his life. Is he doing well? It is not only he receives many challenges but also confront with friendship and his wife. I can’t wait to see Shrek the Third.

The Pursuit of Happyness

The Pursuit of Happyness is a drama film. The film takes some liberties with Gardner’s actual story. Will Smith as Chris Gardner and Smith’s real-life son Jaden Chrisptopher Syre Smith as Gardner’s son Christopher.

In the story, however, some are differences between the film and true events. For instance, Linda and the Rubik’s cube never happened. Gardner’s internship was paid a $1000 monthly, but he says "there was no salary" in the movie, etc.

The story start with a man who name is called Chris, a portable bone-density scanner’s salesman that he eventually finds extremely difficult to sell this equipment, because of it unnecessary, luxuries and expensive. Due to short of money and financial pressure, Linda decides to leave him and their five years old son. Chris has been a single father to take care of his son and life expense. One day, Chris meets a well off man who is a successful stock broker on the street; he makes a decision to be a stock broker. Although he has no high education, but his math skill makes him easy to solve a Rubik’s Cube in a short amount of time, impressing the person who is in charge of the intern hiring process, to the point that he arranges Chris an interview. At the six-month internship program, without salary and only one intern out of the twenty in the program will be chosen to become a full-time paid employee. Chris is determined to be that one. Meanwhile Chris uses money up, so he and his son are evicted from the motel, and spend the night in a BART station public restroom. Nevertheless, Chris still attend morning training program and every evening after work he picks Christopher up then take the bus across town, stand in line with the other homeless people for their shelter. Christopher of course does not like the situation, but he is understanding, and still loves his father. In the end, Gardner's hard work pays off: he is awarded a full-time job and went on to become a highly successful stock broker.

The film attracting me is how to brave confront adverse circumstances and never to give up. Needless to say, in real world, the most people may think that life is difficult. The movie is not only tells us an actual story but also to indicate that in spite of the character encountered how great difficulties in life is, yet he tried his best to solve problems in the extremely awful situation. He won’t abandon any chances when opportunities knock the door so he becomes a successful stock broker. I was inspired by his spirit.

Happy Mother's Day

This letter is written by my sweet little Annie that I got on Mother's Day.

I love you mom,
For what you have done.
I admire your heart,
There's nothing to doubt.
For you and me,
A heart is just fine.
Who brought us together?
O~, who is so wise?
Whoever that did this,
I do not regret,
For what it is now,
Happy Mother's Day, Mommy! I love you!

Summary of The Word about Teen Sex
Hong Kong seems to be having introduced its sex education programs immediately. Due to today’s more liberal society, getting young people to talk about sex and sexual encounter, yet they lack of knowledge or ignorance about this issue. As a consequence, many girls get pregnant or have casual sexes when they are teenagers. Moreover, some girls drop out of school as well as have abortions. Therefore, school have chosen "critical thinking" to become the educational theme.

The grammar not only drive me craze, but it also make me frustrating. Sometime I feel dumb if I couldn’t figure out the rule of grammar. Sometime I feel so proud of myself when I finished a good article in English. What I can say? Iris, would you please teach me how to say 又愛又恨 in English. Thank you soooooo much. I am looking forward to know your answer.

Have a nice day! Everyone.

My Summer Vacation

I really had fun in this summer vacation. Actually, I hang out with my two lovely daughters.
We did a lot of sports, like table tennis, badminton, and tennis and went to some places where we had never been there before. Although, the weather made me melt, but it didn't let me give up on continue exercising. I think exercise keep us in shape and more health. I also met many little kids who came from the same class with my daughters during sport programs. Playing with kids is more fun than adults. They have plenty of energy and cute smile.(I like to see it.)
Another thing that happen during my summer vacation was one of my fish has a bounch of babyfish. The birth of babies made us so excited!^.^But a few days past, all the baby fish were dead. (too bad!)
I had intended to have trip to Hua-Lien (花蓮), but I ran out of time. That is all about my summer vacation. Thank you for reading. :)

My Holiday Plan

We have a long holiday from Moon Festival to Double Ten Festival, there are total 5 days. During the holiday I want to do something different. It's not only good opportunity to be together with our family, but also we can take a good trip.

At Moon Festival, we are going to visit my parents- in- law and have dinner with relative or maybe we will BBQ while we admire the full moon. The next day will be a shopping day for buying some accessories to sell on UNICEF carnival at my children's school on Oct. 21.( UNICEF is an organization that help poor children to have good education, health, protection and environment in all over the world). My kids and I are glad to be volunteers for this activity. On Sunday, we want to go to Tai-Chung because my husband got some information about seafood from the TV. We all like seafood so we won't miss it. At the last two days, we are going back to our routine. Doing the homework, preview and review subjects and prepare for school. For me, after the holiday must be a busy day. There is a bunch of stuff I need to do at home, including my school assignments and quizzes.

I wonder why our teachers give us a lot of assignments during the holiday. In fact, I rather don't have this holiday. It's driving me crazy!

About me

Hi, pals

My name is Tracy. I have been married for 12 years. My husband is a retired military officer and he is a vice presentend of a civilian technology company now. Annie and Emily are my two lovely daughters, 11 and 10, both studying at the NEHS.

I am a active and direct person who like to meet new friends, all kind of challenges. Playing tennis, shopping and knitting are my favorite hobbies. My current goal is to improve my English level; the future is becoming an English teacher for children.

Now I just keep studying and learn more about how to be a good teacher.
